Halloween 2018 at Pier 1

I strolled into Pier 1 about a week and a half ago to finally seek out their Halloween goodies. While Pier 1 isn't exactly my style and usually features too much cutesy Halloween decor covered in glitter, there were still a few things I saw on their website that I wanted to check out in person.

As soon as I entered the store I made a beeline for the orange and black section. They had all kinds of autumn tableware, foliage, room sprays, and more, but I was most excited for the actual Halloween items. I'll be sharing what I found at Pier 1 below:

Halloween 2018 Tees and Pajamas at Target

Last night I went to Target to check out their dollar section again (wow, it was completely decimated and picked clean of Halloween items!), and while that was a bust I did see some of the brand new Halloween t-shirts and pajamas they had out in the women's and pajama sections.

It looked like most of it had just been put out (UPDATE: they put out MORE new designs - check them out HERE!!), as there were only a few items of each design, but there were some adorable tees, cozy sweatshirts, long-sleeved shirts, and even pajama sets! Once Target has more sizes out, I can't wait to get my claws on some of these! Check out what I saw below:

Halloween 2018 at 99 Cents Only Stores

My 99 Cents Only store finally started putting out their Halloween goodies! They are the perfect place to go if you are looking to save some money on Halloween decor. While their items tend to not be very high-quality, there are usually a few pieces I like picking up there, like stickers and a few decor items.

Besides having items that are only 99 cents, they also have a few other items that are priced between $3 - $10. These are higher-quality products like light-up artwork and lanterns that are a pretty good value for what you get.

This year, I only picked up some ribbon, window clings, and a drying mat at 99 Cents Only, but you can check out what else they had below:

Halloween 2018 at Target's Dollar Spot

I have been checking Target almost religiously to see if they have Halloween stuff in their Dollar Spot (aka Bullseye's Playground), and I got lucky this past weekend and found some goodies! Not everything was out yet, and they just had a sprinkling of items, but it was still incredibly exciting to see orange and black at Target!

I wanted to share what I spotted so far, check out my Target Dollar Spot finds below:

Food Review: The Curious Confectionery Popcorn Balls

The Curious Confectionery creates handcrafted artisan popcorn balls to tickle your tastebuds and satisfy your sweet tooth. All of their creations are crafted without animal products and made with incredible ingredients. The company was started by its founder when she realized there was no tasty treat that was both sweet, crunchy and salty. That's when she realized that old-fashioned popcorn balls were what she craved! She started making these for her friends, who urged her to start selling them. Thus, The Curious Confectionery was born!

A to Z Candles 2018 Halloween Collection

'Tis the season for stocking up on Halloween candles and I love finding new companies that offer vegan and cruelty-free candles, like A to Z Candles. This woman-owned and operated company uses high-quality soy wax (from non-GMO soy grown in the USA) and premium fragrances to make all their candles. They just released their new 2018 Halloween collection and all the scents are to-die-for! They kindly sent me their five new Halloween candles for review and I'm so stoked to be able to share my thoughts on them below.

Halloween 2018 at HomeGoods

When I went Halloween hunting earlier this week, I did not expect to find anything at my local HomeGoods store, but I was pleasantly shocked to find an aisle full of Halloween items already out! I went back yesterday, and they had put a bit more on shelves (though it was still contained to just one aisle). I'm sure by this time next week they will have even more Halloween products on shelves, and I'm so excited, especially after what I saw they already had! By the looks of it, it is going to be a good Halloween year at HomeGoods/TJ Maxx. There were a few old items from previous years, but for the most part many of the items seemed to be new designs. You can take a look at what I found at HomeGoods this week below:

Halloween 2018 at Big Lots

I stopped into Big Lots earlier this week to take a peek to see if their Halloween items had hit shelves yet. I wasn't expecting to find anything, but as I rounded the corner I was delighted to see a wall full of skeletons, gothic decor, animated props, and more! This year, they've brought back some of their popular animated home decor items, like the haunted TV and radio (with a few new tweaks). They also have some neat new skeletons and some wicked gothic decor.

They are expecting more Halloween stuff, but I'm so happy they are already putting some out! See what I found at Big Lots below:

Halloween 2018 at Michaels

It has finally arrived, Michaels has released their Halloween 2018 collection! I visited mine earlier this week and was thrilled to see orange and black bedecking the aisles, pumpkin faces peeking out from shelves, and gorgeously gothic decor on every nook and cranny.

This year, Michaels has rolled out so many new items (with more on the way). One collection prominently features orange, black, and witches. It corresponds boo-tifully to Hocus Pocus' 25th anniversary! Another collection is heavy on the gothic feel and perfect for picking up spooky home decor that you can enjoy year-round.
