Food Review: Nature's Bakery Pumpkin Spice Fig Bars
These delightful limited-edition pumpkin spice snacks by Nature's Bakery are like a healthier version of Fig Newtons! They come individually wrapped in convenient twin packs that are perfect for grabbing on the go. Each pack contains two bars that are slightly bigger than Fig Newton size. These would also make great treats to hand out on Halloween night!
These bars have a stone ground whole wheat outer coating, which gives them a heartier, healthier feel. They are nice and soft without being too mushy. Back in my pre-vegan days, I loved Fig Newtons (sadly, they are not vegan, though there are several vegan replacements for them), but hated how they were so thick that they stuck to my teeth and gums. Luckily, these Fig Bites do not stick to my teeth, but have a great bite.
The filling of these contains pumpkin, fig, apple, and spices. The bars are a perfect blend of fall flavors! I really loved the flavor of the filling - it wasn't overpoweringly sweet, nor was it too cinnamon-y. It was a wonderful balance of sweet apple and spicy pumpkin. And the outer coating just wraps everything up like a cozy blanket on a crisp fall day.
The bars are Non-GMO Project Verified, certified vegan, contain no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, no artificial colors, are soy free, dairy free, and cholesterol free!
I found Nature's Bakery Pumpkin Spice Fig Bars at World Market, but I believe they can be purchased at other stores as well.
You can find more information, including a breakdown of nutritional info for the Pumpkin Spice Fig Bars, on the Nature's Bakery website here!

Gotta find those. I love fig newtons, they are one of the few cookies I can have in the house and husband will not eat. So these sound perfect. Thanks for sharing.
