Plant Fest at Tanaka Farms - Spring 2019 Edition this Sunday
One of my favorite events is Plant Fest, held a few times a year at Tanaka Farms. It is a wonderful gathering of vegan food and product vendors, plus cooking demos, yoga, farm tours, games and crafts for the kiddos, and such a fun vibe! I love going and shopping all the vendors, grabbing some great food, watching some cooking demos and just hanging out with good friends.
I'm thrilled that Plant Fest is returning on Sunday, March 31st from 10 AM to 4 PM. There is plenty of free parking and it is a real treat to spend the day on a working farm right in Orange County! Admission to the farm is $4 and allows you access to wander the farm and attend Plant Fest. Plus, a portion of all sales will be donated to an animal sanctuary that will be chosen by the vendors. Check out the incredible vendors below!

Recap: Vegan Street Fair 2018
This past Sunday I attended Vegan Street Fair 2018, which was bigger than ever! Vegan Street Fair started in 2015 (read my past coverage HERE, HERE, and HERE!), and it has grown every year since then. It truly has become one of my favorite vegan events! This year sooooo many people turned up to this festival, which is free (though you can buy fast pass tickets so you get front-of-line). It is estimated that 10,000 more people showed up this year from last year's huge number of attendees! It is so amazing that more and more people are turning out for vegan events and eating all the vegan food.

10 Must-Try Vendors at LA's Vegan Street Fair 2018
I am so looking forward to Vegan Street Fair this upcoming Sunday, March 25th, 2018 in North Hollywood! I have been stalking the Vegan Street Fair Instagram since they started posting the vendors for the event a few months ago, and haven't stopped drooling over their photos!
There are going to be so many delicious food vendors to enjoy this year, even more than in past years (if you are curious about past years or want a sneak peek at what you can look forward to, you can check out my past coverage for 2017, 2016, and 2015).
I decided to put together a list of the top 10 vendors I was most excited about, though this list was extremely difficult to narrow down. I'm thinking of this list as sort of a jumping off point for me of where to start when I arrive at Vegan Street Fair (I like planning ahead!). Note: as of this post the menus for each vendor have not been released yet, so the photos below from Instagram are just samples of what you can expect from these 10 vendors!
Check out what vendors I'm most excited to try at Vegan Street Fair 2018:

Eat All the Vegan Things at Vegan Street Fair on Sunday
It's that time of year again, when the flowers are blooming, the days are getting warmer and longer, and vegan events are starting to spring up everywhere in Southern California! One of my absolute favorite events, Vegan Street Fair, is back for its fourth annual vegan food extravaganza next Sunday, March 25th, and it is something you don't want to miss! Read more about it below:

Recap: Vegan Street Fair 2017
This past Sunday I attended Vegan Street Fair 2017, which was bigger and better than ever! Vegan Street Fair started in 2015 (read my past coverage HERE and HERE!), and every year since then they have grown and improved so much that it has become my favorite vegan festival of the year! This year the street fair took over more streets, had more vendors and longer hours, and featuring fun carnival-style games, lots of seating, and even a beer garden!
The event was completely free, but VIP passes were also available for about $40. If you can swing it, I highly recommend VIP tickets, as they allow you access to special VIP front of line windows at nearly every food booth, plus you can also spring for a little extra to get a swag bag that is packed with all sorts of vegan goodies! The food lines at each booth are looooong, so a VIP pass will save you valuable time and ensure you can eat all the vegan things!
This year they eliminated their food tickets as well, so attendees could just pay vendors directly. Thank goodness, since this meant you didn't have to stand in line twice (once to purchase food tickets, and again to exchange those tickets for food), which made everything faster, less confusing, and more streamlined!
I really had a great time, but let's get to what you REALLY want to see - the vegan food (psssst - check out my list of 10 must-try vendors at Vegan Street Fair and see how many I was able to hit below)!

10 Must-Try Vendors at Vegan Street Fair LA
Can you believe it's almost time for Vegan Street Fair?! It is this Sunday, March 26th, 2017 in North Hollywood, and I cannot wait to eat all the vegan things! I am so excited for this event, and my giddiness grew even more when the Vegan Street Fair organizers published the event map AND all the vendor menus the other day!
Ghouls and boils, there are SO MANY delicious food vendors to try this year! So many vendors, in fact, that I was feeling overwhelmed by all the choices (what an awesome problem to have, right?!), so I went ahead and put together a little cheat sheet for myself and listed out the vendors I was most excited to try. I figured this might come in handy for other people, too, so I'm sharing my top 10 must-try vendors at Vegan Street Fair!

We are quickly heading into spring and summer, and that means that Southern California will soon be swimming in vegan festivals! SoCal residents are lucky to have such an abundance of vegan festivals to choose from, but these things can add up quickly with the cost of tickets, food, drinks, parking, and so on. Luckily, I've found the top five vegan festivals in SoCal that won't break the bank!
Check out five upcoming Southern California vegan festivals that won't break the bank below:

Vegan Street Fair Returns to SoCal March 2017
The massively successful and insanely fun Vegan Street Fair is returning to Chandler Boulevard in North Hollywood this March 26th, 2017! The event has grown every year, and 2017 will be no different, with more space and more delicious vegan food for attendees! They are also expanding geographically, with a VSF coming to New York in summer 2017! They will also be bringing back their VSF Nights to North Hollywood in September as well. Lots of fantastic events coming up from VSF, so keep an eye out for more info.
Vegan Street Fair is seriously one of my favorite vegan food festivals of the year (check out my write-ups on the events from 2016 and 2015!), and I am really picky what I go to! Not only do they have some kick-ass vendors, but they also listen to feedback from attendees and strive to make improvements and tweaks every year. This year, they have done away with the tickets they've used in past years and attendees will pay cash directly to vendors (thank goodness). And as mentioned previously, they are adding more space as well as more vendors in 2017! Check out more details from their Facebook event below:

Recap: Eat Drink Vegan Festival 2016 (formerly LA Vegan Beer + Food Fest)
Eat Drink Vegan!
This past Saturday saw record temperatures in the high 90s and low 100s, but that certainly didn't stop folks from heading out in droves to Eat Drink Vegan, or the festival formerly known as the Los Angeles Vegan Beer and Food Fest! In spite of the heat, it was an incredible event filled with tons of vegan food, beverages, products, and lots of good cheer from those attending! I had a blast, and wanted to share a recap of the fest with you!

10 Must-Try Eats at the LA Vegan Beer + Food Fest
The Los Angeles Vegan Beer and Food Festival is almost here and I cannot wait! This Saturday, June 18th hordes of vegan and veg-curious folks will descend upon the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to eat and drink all the vegan things! I have been drooling over all the photos from last weekend's Portland Vegan Beer and Food Fest (I MUST go next year), and I am so, so excited for this weekend to get here! I've been stalking a lot of the restaurants that will be serving up delicious food in just a few days, and a few have really popped out at me as being "must-try" eats! FYI - I'm in it for the food rather than the booze, so I don't have any beverage recommendations for you (though I am looking forward to kombucha and cold brew!).

Los Angeles Vegan Street Fair 2016 Report
The second Vegan Street Fair was held this past Sunday in North Hollywood, California! This year promised to be bigger than last year (read about last year's event HERE!), with more space, more ticket options, and (most importantly) MORE FOOD!
It was held just a few streets over from last year's event, but on a wider street with much more space, and it grew from about 40 vendors to over 90! The vendors were mostly restaurants and food vendors, but there were also clothing companies, vegan lifestyle magazines, animal rescue and sanctuary booths, and many more! Some of the food vendors this year included Blue Window, SunCafe, Casa Coqui, Vegan Pizza, The Ridiculous Baking Co., and soooooo many more!
