Celebrate Halloween in July with Midsummer Scream's Halloween and Horror Convention

SoCal Halloween and horror enthusiasts take note - this year Halloween will be arriving in July with the Midsummer Scream festival! It will be celebrating the spirit of Halloween, local haunts, and all things horror! This new Halloween and horror convention will be premiering July 30th and 31st, 2016 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

I personally can't wait for another Halloween fest - there is ScareLA in August, but this Midsummer Scream is closer to me and sooner, too! It's right around the time that some stores start putting out their Halloween items and I start getting really excited for the upcoming autumn season. This spooky convention will be at the perfect time!

Let's get spooky!

The event is brought to us from the creative minds of CreepyLA and Theme Park Adventure and will feature more than 100,000 square feet of event space to showcase villainous vendors, morbid makeup demonstrations, spooky stage presentations, eerie entertainment, a scary screening room, haunted attraction experiences, and much more.

Vendors/haunts/entertainers and other companies already confirmed for the fest include Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, Ten Thirty One Productions behind Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and the Great Horror Campout events, Dread Central, Sinister Pointe, Ghost Train (LA Live Steamers), Scott Ramp/The Scream Team, SoCal Valley Haunters, Drunken Devil, Decayed Brigade slider team, Motel 6 Feet Under, Season Pass Podcast, Spooky Hollows, Rotten Apple 907, Fear Station, Figment Foundry, magic of Jimmy H./Mudd the Magnificent, Screenshot Productions, The Empty Grave, Cross Roads Escape Games, Higgins Manor, Dark House Entertainment (The Basement), Girls and Corpses, Evil Twin Studios, and Garner Holt Productions. The list continues to grow each day and more will be announced right up until the event in July!

Keep up to date with more announcements by following Midsummer Scream on their website, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!

Tickets are on sale now (with discounted prices for a limited time); you can purchase them HERE!
