First Ever SoCal VegFest Spooks Up Fun and Food November 1st in Costa Mesa, CA

SoCal VegFest is Orange County's first ever vegan festival and will showcase delicious vegan food and beautiful vegan products on Sunday, November 1st, 2015 at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa! The event will also feature special guest speakers, cooking demos, live music, and much more! Entry is FREE and I hear they may have some Halloween and/or Dia de los Muertos activities planned as well.

Come out and cure your Halloween hangovers with some delicious vegan food and hang with some fun, friendly veg peeps! More details below...

Sunday Funday: Christmas Edition

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! I cannot believe it is nearly Christmas...this month has flown by, which is a pity because I really love this season! Everyone assumes that since Halloween is "my" holiday that I don't enjoy any other holidays...but that couldn't be farther from the truth!

After Halloween, Christmas is probably my favorite holiday. I love the lights, the chilly weather, the decorations, the food, and, yes, even the music! Not to mention that the season also contains the start of the winter season (happy belated winter solstice), and even though I don't get any snow where I live, I love photos of dreamy snowscapes and wintery woods. I also love pics of Christmas things that have a gothic or creepy twist to them (hello Creepmas) as well as just plain joyful Christmas photos!

Sunday Funday: Favorite Photos of the Week - Autumn Edition

Happy Fall, folks!!! Yesterday marked the autumn equinox and I could't be happier for fall to finally be here. Of course, here in Southern California it is still broiling and hasn't dipped below 80 degrees in quite some time (today it is in the 90s and 100s...blegh). I was also unfortunate enough to come down with the flu and was out of commission for the good part of last week. So both the hot weather and being ill has made it seem less autumnal than I would like. I haven't even been able to bake since it has been so stinkin' hot.

Since autumn seems MIA here, I've been longingly gazing at fall photographs on Tumblr and Pinterest. I also realized I hadn't done a Sunday Funday in quite some time and decided I had to share some of the lovely pictures I have been drooling over.
