Beauty Review: Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash

Written by Sarah E. Jahier

I am always on the hunt for a face wash that can multi-task. I need something that not only removes my makeup (including lots of dark eyeliner) and cleanses, but is also gentle on my face and tones and moisturizes. I've never seen a cleanser than can handle all these tasks, and I generally end up using different cleansers for different tasks – I use makeup-removing wipes to get rid of makeup, then a cleanser to wash my face, then toner and/or moisturizer.

However, I've now found a cleanser that does all these tasks! Yep, Pacifica’s new Sea Foam Complete Face Wash removes all my makeup, cleanses my face of excess oil/impurities and also tones and moisturizes!

The face wash is clear but has a thick, viscous consistency. This consistency really ensures the cleanser latches onto makeup, oil and impurities to wash them all away and gives my skin a super-clean feeling. It also leaves my skin feeling soft, toned and moisturized! It utilizes papaya extract as an exfoliant/skin-softener, coconut water for toning/balancing the skin's pH, and sea algae extract to help normalize skin's moisture content/promote skin's natural brightness. After just a few uses I noticed improvement in my skin - it felt softer, more toned and rejuvenated!

The Sea Foam cleanser also has a delightfully fresh scent that leaves you invigorated! I love the scent day or night, which is just about as often as I use it! Also, Pacifica's products are all cruelty-free and never tested on animals. The Sea Foam Complete Face Wash is 100% vegan, sulfate-free, and even gluten-free!

The face wash ranges in price from around $8 (I found it on sale around this price) to around $15 online. For all that it does, I believe this is a fair price for the cleanser. It is definitely my favorite new beauty product!

You can find the face wash on Pacifica’s site or on Amazon!

  1. This couldn't have come at a more perfect time! I'm going to need a new face wash soon and this one looks like everything I'm looking for! I wear just enough mascara and liquid eyeliner that sometimes I need to wash my face twice, which I'm NOT a fan of.
