10 Things Getting Me Through Post-Halloween Blues
I am ecstatic that one of my favorite blogs, Unquiet Things, has featured me in their "Ten Things" series, where guests write about 10 things they are loving, can't live without, or some variation thereof. For my guest post, I thought I would feature 10 Things Getting Me Through the Post-Halloween Blues, since that PHD (post-Halloween depression) hit hard this year and seeking comfort is at the top of my list this November.
And another big thank you to Sarah Elizabeth of Unquiet Things for having me - I have been a long-time reader and admirer of her writing and style for quite some time, so I was very excited to have the opportunity to contribute to her blog! Please spend some time in her archives and peruse all her posts, you won't regret it.
Check out the 10 Things Getting Me Through the Post-Halloween Blues over on Unquiet Things!
Stay spooky, darklings, and let me know how you are coping with post-Halloween depression in the comments!

Spooky Vegan Featured on Vegan Street's Interview Series
I was incredibly honored that Marla Rose of Vegan Street asked me to be part of their vegan rock star interview series! I have admired Marla and her fiercely informative website for years, which covers hot vegan topics, product reviews, interviews, and more. I love how the website is inclusive of all vegans (and vegan-curious) and shares a wide variety of voices in the vegan community.

Catsploitation: A Zine Celebrating Horror Fans and Their Cats
I recently contributed to a zine called Catsploitation that celebrates horror fans and their cats and had such a blast! Each contributor was interviewed about their favorite horror movies and their cats. Each page of the zine showcases the interviewees' taste in movies, photos of them and their cats, and what horror movie characters and movies best describe their cats' personalities. The zine also contains an article on horror and sci-fi movies that feature cats as main protagonists or antagonists. Take a peek at this meow-velous zine below:

AEIOU and Sometimes Why Interviews The Spooky Vegan
One of my favorite costumes ever - my mom sewed it for me!
Dressed as a witch way back when!
One of my favorite Halloween blogs, AEIOU...and Sometimes Why, recently chatted with me about my favorite subjects , all things Halloween and spooky! It was so much fun talking about my favorite Halloween memories, my annual traditions, reminiscing about my trick or treating experiences as a kid, and much more!
You can check out the interview HERE!
The interview is part of a larger interview series conducted by Dex of the AEIOU blog, and I am having such a blast reading about other Halloween bloggers and their Halloween recollections!

Yahoo.com Interviews Me for Women in Horror Month!
This past Valentine's Day I got a pretty rad gift...I was featured on Yahoo.com for Women in Horror Month!! I'm a little late sharing the link on here for a few reasons: 1.) I've been super-busy, 2.) I was out of town and "out of the office" for a while, and, lastly, 3.) I didn't want to overshadow other great (and more meaningful) Women in Horror celebrations happening!
But I'm sharing now, so if you haven't checked it out already, go read it! Since I do a lot of interviews over at Fatally-Yours.com, it was refreshing to be answering questions instead of asking them. It was pretty exciting being interviewed (not to mention an honor), and I think it turned out well.
Check it out below and tell me what you think!

Interview with Spooky Goth-Industrial Band God Module
God Module has been one of my favorite bands for some time now...with songs about Halloween, horror movies and other spooky subjects how can I resist? I've made their song "Spooky" my unofficial theme song ("I love the night, I like it spooky" PLUS samples from RotLD!) and I adore their new EP, The Magic in My Heart is Dead (buy it on Amazon)!
Check out my interview with them HERE!
So it was a real (trick 'r) treat that I got to interview members Jasyn Bangert and Byron C. Miller recently!
Check out my interview with them HERE!
