Food Review: Mr. Dewie's Cashew Milk Frozen Dessert

I was ecstatic to finally find Mr. Dewie's Cashew Milk Frozen Dessert at Mother's Market this past week! I have been eagerly waiting to find this delightfully creamy dessert in stores here in Orange County since I had it in March (when I had my first taste of Mr. Dewie's at Expo West), so you can imagine my excitement when I found it in the ice cream section of my local health food store.

Sweet and Sara's Peanut Butter Smores

I finally did it guys, I finally splurged on Sweet and Sara's already prepared smores (I raved about their products before HERE)! As you can see above and below, it looks like a moon pie (oh man do I miss those...but now I have this much healthier and cruelty-free option...yay!). I picked the peanut butter flavor (I LOOOOVE anything peanut butter flavored...in my opinion it just makes everything better!) and couldn't wait to pop it in the microwave so it got all melty (a little trick I learned from watching a segment on Sweet and Sara on Unwrapped!)!!

Seriously, this was a HUGE smore and could have easily been shared with another person...but I was particularly fiendy for chocolate-y vegan goodness and ended up eating it all myself! Oops...but definitely a delicious indulgence! I mean, how could I resist against this:

Drool!

The marshmallows were perfectly flavored, the chocolate was silky and it had a perfect light peanut buttery flavor to it. I mean, I ate the whole thing in one sitting, so that should tell you something!! If you miss good old fashioned moon pies or smores, then Sweet and Sara's vegan versions of these treats are a perfect dessert for you!

Sweet and Sara Products FINALLY at Mother's Market

When I don't want to make the effort to go to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's won't suffice, I make the short trip to Mother's Market, which is just two blocks from my apartment. I love Mother's cuz they have all sorts of vegan items from Daiya to beauty products to vegan deli food! It's always been awesome, and I can never walk out of there with less than $30 of vegan items!

Vegan Vanilla Marshmallows - The vegan marshmallows I went home with ;)

Well, when I was browsing Mother's the other night I noticed they FINALLY had Sweet and Sara's vegan products in their refrigerated snack section!! I have been dying to try Sweet and Sara's vegan marshmallows and thanks to Mother's I finally had my chance! I got the regular vanilla flavored marshmallows (though the toasted coconut ones were tempting!) and instantly fell in love...their texture is exactly like that of a "regular" marshmallow and the flavor is rich but not overwhelmingly sweet. I can't wait to put a few of these in hot chocolate or make my own vegan smores!

Mother's also had a few other Sweet and Sara products that hopefully I can try next time! They were nearly sold out of everything Sweet and Sara, though, which is a good sign so hopefully they'll stock even more of the brand!!
