Halloween 2019 at Fred Meyer

We don't have Fred Meyer grocery stores in California, so when we were up in Oregon recently we popped into one to grab some water and snacks and were surprised at how huge they are! I also had no idea they had a Halloween decor, which I quickly gravitated towards and was delighted to find they had a ton of! I didn't buy anything, but had a blast browsing their sprawling Halloween section. I can't wait to get back up there and get back into a Fred Meyer (they also had a ton of vegan options in the grocery section of the store!).

Here are all the Halloween goodies I spotted in Fred Meyer:

Sneak Peak: Halloween 2019 at Pier 1

Halloween items are starting to sneak up online and in-stores, and while stalking the Pier 1 website I noticed that they had their autumn and Halloween sneak peeks up! They have so many adorable items this year, I cannot wait to get my claws on some of them!

Here are some of my faves I spotted on the Pier 1 website, you can order/pre-order these now and they should make their appearance in Pier 1 stores around mid-August.

Eerie Organizing for Glamour Ghouls

Springtime always inspires me to clean out my closets, de-clutter, and tidy up my home. The longer, sunnier days inspire me to brush away the cobwebs, give everything a deep clean, and find new ways to organize my things. Spring is time to start fresh and get my house spooky and sparkling, with everything in it's proper place.

I've been eyeballing some new organizers to achieve this goal, with a spooky twist, of course! I've been looking for makeup holders, curio shelves, desk organizers, photo and memento boxes, all with a gothic aesthetic. I thought it would be fun to share these eerie organizers with you, too, in hopes that they help with your own spooky spring cleaning!

Check out the items below to help you get eerily organized this spring and do some spooky spring cleaning:

While it seems that Valentine's Day is often an over-commercialized holiday full of annoying fluff and pink stuff, you'll be glad to know that spooky kids like us can still express love in our own delightfully dark way! We can even decorate for Valentine's Day by using some gothic decor that blends in and enhances our already dark decor styles.

The good news is that there are lots of gorgeously gothic items available to make sure you keep it creepy this Valentine's Day! I've found products and ideas for you that will definitely help set the macabre mood for a spooky Valentine's Day, browse them below:

Fatally Yours 2019 Valentine's Day Chocolate Box

Fatally Yours 2019 Valentine's Day Chocolate Box

Vegan Treats, the bakery in Pennsylvania that makes the Fatally Yours chocolate box, has unveiled their 2019 Valentine's Day collection! Of course on the top of most spooky vegan's Valentine's wish list is their limited edition Fatally Yours chocolate box, containing delectable pieces of handmade vegan chocolate accented with gold leaf, all nestled in a stunning heart-shaped box that features artwork by Cecilia Granata (artist, tattooist, and author of Mama Tried: Traditional Italian Cooking for the Screwed, Crude, Vegan, and Tattooed).

I love sharing the Fatally Yours chocolate box with my fellow fiends since it really makes the perfect vegan Valentine for spooks like us! I am in no way affiliated with Vegan Treats, but I do like informing you of these to-die-for chocolates perfect for that spooky someone this Valentine's Day.

Vegan Treats only sells these limited-edition chocolate boxes for a short time, so make sure to pre-order yours as soon as you can if you want one. There are two versions of the Fatally Yours box available for you to choose from on Vegan Treats, the standard box that includes 18 boo-tiful pieces of chocolate as well as the "Ultimate" box, which includes some extra treats for your sweet in addition to the chocolate box. 20 Spooky Stocking Stuffers Under $20

I don't know about you, but sometimes stocking stuffers are the hardest thing to shop for! I mean, it's hard to find smaller gifts that aren't just candy or snacks for your loved ones. Plus, stocking stuffers kinda get pushed off to the last minute and treated as an afterthought, with not much thought put into them.

This year, why not wow your favorite boils and ghouls with some creeptastic stocking stuffers?! I've found a bunch of small gifts that would be perfect and as an added bonus they are all under $20 so they don't break the bank! Plus, the ones I've selected below are all available on Amazon, ensuring they arrive before the holiday.

Halloween 2018 at Cost Plus World Market

Cost Plus World Market is one of my favorite places to shop for Halloween goodies! They always have some great vintage-inspired decor and in the past they've carried some fantastic Universal Monsters pieces. I was excited to check out what they had in-store this Halloween season, and arrived at their store just as they were starting to put out their Halloween items. I was a bit bummed that they no longer have Universal Monsters stuff (I believe that licensing was acquired by Target), but this year they do have some Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise as well as some neat vintage-inspired pieces. I also love shopping at World Market to score some vegan Halloween food - their Halloween pasta is vegan and doesn't contain any eggs or animal-derived color.

Check out my finds at Cost Plus World Market below:

Halloween 2018 at Pier 1

I strolled into Pier 1 about a week and a half ago to finally seek out their Halloween goodies. While Pier 1 isn't exactly my style and usually features too much cutesy Halloween decor covered in glitter, there were still a few things I saw on their website that I wanted to check out in person.

As soon as I entered the store I made a beeline for the orange and black section. They had all kinds of autumn tableware, foliage, room sprays, and more, but I was most excited for the actual Halloween items. I'll be sharing what I found at Pier 1 below:

Halloween 2018 Tees and Pajamas at Target

Last night I went to Target to check out their dollar section again (wow, it was completely decimated and picked clean of Halloween items!), and while that was a bust I did see some of the brand new Halloween t-shirts and pajamas they had out in the women's and pajama sections.

It looked like most of it had just been put out (UPDATE: they put out MORE new designs - check them out HERE!!), as there were only a few items of each design, but there were some adorable tees, cozy sweatshirts, long-sleeved shirts, and even pajama sets! Once Target has more sizes out, I can't wait to get my claws on some of these! Check out what I saw below:

Halloween 2018 at Target's Dollar Spot

I have been checking Target almost religiously to see if they have Halloween stuff in their Dollar Spot (aka Bullseye's Playground), and I got lucky this past weekend and found some goodies! Not everything was out yet, and they just had a sprinkling of items, but it was still incredibly exciting to see orange and black at Target!

I wanted to share what I spotted so far, check out my Target Dollar Spot finds below:

Halloween 2018 at HomeGoods

When I went Halloween hunting earlier this week, I did not expect to find anything at my local HomeGoods store, but I was pleasantly shocked to find an aisle full of Halloween items already out! I went back yesterday, and they had put a bit more on shelves (though it was still contained to just one aisle). I'm sure by this time next week they will have even more Halloween products on shelves, and I'm so excited, especially after what I saw they already had! By the looks of it, it is going to be a good Halloween year at HomeGoods/TJ Maxx. There were a few old items from previous years, but for the most part many of the items seemed to be new designs. You can take a look at what I found at HomeGoods this week below:

Halloween 2018 at Big Lots

I stopped into Big Lots earlier this week to take a peek to see if their Halloween items had hit shelves yet. I wasn't expecting to find anything, but as I rounded the corner I was delighted to see a wall full of skeletons, gothic decor, animated props, and more! This year, they've brought back some of their popular animated home decor items, like the haunted TV and radio (with a few new tweaks). They also have some neat new skeletons and some wicked gothic decor.

They are expecting more Halloween stuff, but I'm so happy they are already putting some out! See what I found at Big Lots below:

Halloween 2018 at Michaels

It has finally arrived, Michaels has released their Halloween 2018 collection! I visited mine earlier this week and was thrilled to see orange and black bedecking the aisles, pumpkin faces peeking out from shelves, and gorgeously gothic decor on every nook and cranny.

This year, Michaels has rolled out so many new items (with more on the way). One collection prominently features orange, black, and witches. It corresponds boo-tifully to Hocus Pocus' 25th anniversary! Another collection is heavy on the gothic feel and perfect for picking up spooky home decor that you can enjoy year-round.

You can check out everything I found at my recent visit below (and check out their autumn collection here):

Sneak Peek: Halloween 2018 at Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel restaurants are typically located in the Midwest and the South, but Southern California recently opened their very own, though it is still pretty far for me to visit (and I doubt they have vegan options). Besides being a restaurant, they also start carrying some creepy-cute Halloween items around this time of year. Even if you don't have a Cracker Barrel nearby, the good news is that most of their Halloween items can be ordered online!

I've been browsing their online store lately, and I am thinking about ordering a few of the items below:

Sneak Peek: Halloween 2018 at Grandin Road

Grandin Road has unveiled their Halloween Haven collection for 2018. I love browsing their Halloween items, though I've never purchased anything from them. This year, aquatic horror has made a splash on Grandin Road's site, along with some gorgeously gothic decor that is to die for!

You can see some of my favorites from their 2018 Halloween collection below:

Sneak Peek: Halloween 2018 at Kirklands

Halloween items are popping up all over and I've been busy keeping my eyes out for treats to share with you boils and ghouls. Recently, I found some really great pieces at Kirkland's online store! I don't have any Kirkland's stores near me, so I am glad I have the option of ordering their items online, especially since their 2018 Halloween collection is to die for!

Check out some of my faves I found online so far below:

There is nothing better than wrapping up your gifts in stunning wrapping paper to dress up that one-of-a-kind present for a special someone! And if that special someone happens to love the darker side of life, all things Halloween, and have a gothic aesthetic I have the perfect wrapping paper for them! You don't need to use the same red and green wrapping paper dotted with Santas or smiling snowmen/penguins/etc. this year, show your favorite people you really care by wrapping up their gifts in gorgeous prints featuring vintage spiders, bats, owls, pumpkins, the Grim Reaper, skulls and snowflakes, or even Krampus!

Wear These Ugly Christmas Sweaters to Scare Your Family this Creepmas

Ugly Christmas sweaters don't have to be tacky disasters adorned with tinsel and snowflakes - now you can find ones that are tacky masterpieces adorned with skulls, monsters, bats, skeletons, and Krampus!

Of course, there have been some rad Creepmas sweaters the past few years (check 'em out here, here, here, and here!), but it seems that every year there are even more eerie options for us spooky fiends. This year, I found some gorgeously gothic sweaters that are perfect for scaring the holly-jollies out of your neighbors, little old ladies, and your family when you sit down for holiday get-togethers.

Sneak Peek: Halloween 2017 at Pottery Barn

There isn't much of a Halloween section up on Pottery Barn's site yet, but it seems like they are slowly starting to add pieces. Right now, they have a few new items up as well as some from previous years. I've been keeping an eye on any new items that pop up, and I think they are getting closer and closer to revealing their new Halloween 2017 collection. For now, I wanted to share Pottery Barn's Halloweenie products that have caught my eye so far:
