17 Vegan Holiday Finds at Trader Joe's

Trader Joe's has a variety of vegan holiday goodies that make it easy to get into the festive spirit. Many old favorites have returned (Candy Cane Joe Joe's! Chocolate Peppermint Almond Drink!), and a few new vegan goodies have popped up on shelves.

While I get much more excited for their bounty of autumn vegan items I still love seeing so many winter holiday treats that vegans can enjoy, bring to holiday get-togethers, and share with friends and family!

Below you'll find the vegan holiday food that I saw on shelves at Trader Joe's - remember that most of these are seasonal products that are available for only a limited time, so grab them while you can!

This Winter Snowflake Pasta is one of my favorite new items at Trader Joe's!
Not only is this pasta adorable, but it has a great texture and bite. Pair it
with some vegan Alfredo sauce or other white sauce for a wintery look!

Trader Joe's Almond Nog - I love dunking my Candy Cane Joe-Joe's in this!

This Sweet Potato and Marshmallow Pixie Pie Mix is vegan (yes, even the
marshmallow!) and you just need an egg substitute to bake it vegan!

Ok, these are my absolute fave of the season! These are Trader Joe's version
of the Oreo, with the addition of peppermint and real bits of candy cane.
And vegan to boot, hurrah!

This Hi-Protein Veggie Burger is brand-new, and hopefully will stick
around for after the holidays since it isn't a strictly seasonal offering.
I haven't tried it yet, but have heard good things!

This Trader Joe's Chocolate Peppermint Almond Beverage is another fave
of mine - I guess I love anything that combines chocolate and peppermint!

If you want to get nostalgic (or is it just me that remembers sneaking the
chocolate liqueur candies as a kid?!), try these Chocolate Liqueur Cherries,
another vegan holiday find! This big box makes a great gift, too.

Mmmm these Trader Joe's Soft Baked Drizzled Gingerbread Oat Bars make
the perfect festive snack this season. I love packing these whenever I travel
during the holidays for a quick, easy, and  comforting treat.

This Vegan Kale, Cashew and Basil Pesto is new (and I'm hoping is a
permanent addition) and its green color makes it perfect for holiday dips
and sauces! It's actually pretty tasty and I love using it with the
snowflake pasta!

Winter Wassail is made with a "blend of apple, black currant and lemon juices...
infused with holiday spices and orange peel." I love simmering it on the stove
so it fills the house with it's warm, comforting scent!

I love the vegan gummies that Trader Joe's usually has, but I was thrilled to
see these holiday-themed Scandinavian Tidings chewy candies in shapes
like stars and evergreen trees.

This Gingerbread Cake Mix is all vegan, and you can bake it vegan by using
vegan substitutes for the eggs, etc. it calls for.

Trader Joe's Candy Cane Green Tea is another of my favorite  holiday items.
I absolutely love the bright peppermint flavor in this mellow green tea.

Drool! How good does this Maple Pecan Shortbread Bar Baking Mix look?!
Like the other baking mixes mentioned above, the mix is already vegan, you
just have to use vegan substitutes when mixing it up to bake!

There is nothing quite like hot cocoa this time of year, and this Trader Joe's
Sipping Chocolate is a rich, indulgent treat that happens to be vegan!

You can't properly enjoy hot cocoa without marshmallows, and luckily
Trader Joe's has you covered with these vegan Mini Marshmallows!

UPDATE: As of 2018 these unfortunately aren't vegan anymore - they now
contain milk, which is such a huge disappointment. Why, Trader Joe's, why??
This Dark Chocolate Break-Apart Orange is a something I  remember from my
childhood, and I love that Trader Joe's offers a vegan option! It's just as
delicious as I remember it tasting when I was a kid!

What are your favorite vegan holiday finds at Trader Joe's?

Until next time, stay spooky and I wish you and yours the happiest of holiday seasons!

  1. What do you think they meant for the snowflake pasta when it says made with bronze dyes? Have you tried making the pixie pie? I did and was unimpressed sadly. I can't wait to try that gingerbread mix though! And their sipping cocoa is the best.

    1. Hmmm not sure what you mean by bronze dyes, my package of snowflake pasta just says it is made with durum wheat semolina. I think you might be referring to bronze dies, which are what they would use to cut the pasta to make it into snowflake shapes! I have not tried the pixie pie yet, but excited to see how it turns out!

    2. The handwritten tag in your photo says made with bronze dyes, I assumed dies but I'm very literal and wasn't sure if they have actual dye in them lol.
