Beauty Review: Goddess Provisions Box
The Goddess Provisions monthly subscription box was created by the lovely couple behind the awesomely successful Vegan Cuts subscription boxes (my reviews of the snack box and the beauty box). The Goddess Provisions box is geared more towards getting in touch with your self and the Earth while nourishing both, along with mind, body, and spirit. The monthly box features aromatherapy, crystals, superfoods, natural makeup, and other tools for spiritual growth! Everything is always cruelty-free and vegan, and there are about 4 - 6 full-size products in each box.
I have been lusting after the Goddess Provisions box for some time (and even included them in one of my gift guides this year), so I was ecstatic when I received the November "Sacral Chakra Box" for review from the kind folks at Goddess Provisions. This box centers around the theme of channeling passion and creativity with the sacral chakra.
This box included the following products:
Healing Crystals Oracle Deck #2 ($6.95 value) - Learn more about physical and metaphysical aspects of crystals with this deck. To use it as an oracle deck, focus on an intention and pull a card. Read the the three attributes and the affirmation for the crystal for guidance.
Rawxies Cookies ($1.99 value) - This heart-shaped treat is a hybrid of a nutrition bar and a dessert. It's gluten and soy free, completely raw, and made with wholesome ingredients. Eat your heart out!
21 Drops in Passion ($7.00 value) - Aromatherapy blends that are easy to take on the go and call in a little passion or focus as you need it. With "Passion", cardamom enlivens and refreshes, jasmine diminishes fears and inhibitions, rose invites feelings of love, and sandalwood encourages self-acceptance.
Kishu Charcoal Water Bottle Filter ($9.99 value) - Plastic-free water filter alternative made from sustainably harvested oak branches that’s perfectly sized for a reusable water bottle. Filters within 1-2 hours and lasts for 4 months.
100% Pure Mascara ($25 value) - Ignite passion with a seductive eye look using this natural mascara that gets its color from black tea leaves, berry and cocoa pigments.
Red Quartz ($5 value) - Hematite gives this quartz its deep orangey-red color. The combination of hematite and quartz creates a grounding energy for your lower chakras. Place it on your sacral chakra during meditation. Sizes vary from .25" to 3".
I thought the box had an excellent mix of items, and I was most excited about the full-size mascara (it smells like chocolate!), which I had already wanted to try, and the red quartz crystal! The Kishu charcoal filter looked really cool, too, and the Rawxies cookie looked yummy! And the Passion aromatherapy blend was absolutely divine! I have it on as we speak, and I love its heady scents of jasmine, rose, cardamom, and sandalwood. The Healing Crystals deck was super-informative and very helpful in learning all about the healing, energizing, and aligning properties of crystals.
A month-to-month subscription is $33, but you can also pre-pay up to a full 3, 6, or 12 months for a discount. Shipping within the U.S. is free, $10 for shipping to Canada, and they also ship world-wide for a $20 shipping fee.
The Goddess Provisions box makes a fantastic gift for the holidays, birthdays, or "just because", either for yourself or for a fellow goddess.
