Creep It Cozy: Comfy Clothes for Horror Fans

Brrrrrr, this February has been cold, even here in Southern California. It even snowed in LA, which only happens once every 10 years or so! I know in other parts of the country it is much colder, especially with the polar vortex that made temperatures plummet in many states.

The chilly temperatures are a perfect excuse to bundle up at home in comfy, cozy clothes and watch some horror movies (which is what I've been doing all winter long!). I've rounded up some comfy clothes and accessories for horror fans that are great for lounging around the house, check them all out below:

Graveyard Goods Exorcist Sweatshirt and Sweatpants Bundle - This limited-edition set from Graveyard Goods has me gagging (haha) with excitement! They come out with new hoodies and sweatpants every month, so check back if you don't snag these!

Monster Tease Beetlejuice Lydia Hoodie - I love the design of Lydia from Beetlejuice on this lightweight hoodie from Monster Tease! This lighter sweatshirt is incredible for when you just want a light extra layer to keep you warm but don't want a bulky sweatshirt.

Sourpuss "Everyday is Halloween" Knit Hat - This beanie will keep you warm all winter long, and you can express your love of Halloween and your spooky lifestyle every time you wear it! I love how it is made with acrylic rather than wool, making it cruelty-free (as well as less scratchy).

Fright Rags House of 1000 Corpses Pajama Pants - "The bogeyman is real and you found him." And now you can have the pajama pants to match! These exclusive Fright Rags lounge pants are cozy and comfy to wear in your own horror home. They also have lounge pants featuring art from Night of the Living Dead!

Merch Massacre "You'll Float Too" IT Knit Gloves - No clowning around, these gloves will keep your hands toasty and they are touch-screen compatible. They are made with an acrylic and cotton blend and don't contain any wool, either.

Loudmouth Threads VHS Skeleton Hoodie - I totally dig this skeleton hoodie that has an old-school VHS horror sticker in place of a heart, because we all know our hearts beat only for horror movies!

Pallbearer Press Overlook Leggings - These The Shining-inspired leggings are perfect for a winter staycation - put them on, snuggle up on the couch, and be glad you aren't having to take care of a creepy hotel over the winter.

Nightmare on Elm Street Fingerless Gloves - These 100% acrylic fingerless gloves pay homage to Freddy's infamous green and red sweater. Don't they look just dreamy?!

Middle of Beyond Evil Dead 2 Scarf - This officially-licensed Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn scarf is such a rad design and the acrylic knit will keep you snug as a demon in the basement.

Friday the 13th Jason Sweatpants - Lounge around in killer style with these Friday the 13th sweatpants featuring a machete-wielding Jason. Netflix and ch-ch-ch-ch-chill?

Fright Rags Halloween Glow-in-the-Dark Michael Myers Socks - Keep your tootsies warm with these socks adorned with The Shape.

Dracula Book Scarf - This soft infinity scarf features a gorgeous bat design with an excerpt from Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Loudmouth Threads Hereditary Jogger Sweatpants - Hail Paimon with these joggers that are adorned with "riches to the conjurer" and skulls with the now infamous symbol from Hereditary.

Zombie Slippers - Shuffle around the house in these terrifying zombie slippers that will take a bite out of the cold and engulf your feet in warmth.

Skeleton Kigurumi Onesie - If you are looking for the ultimate in spooky coziness, you can't beat a kigurumi-style onesie and I especially love this one with a skeleton design available on Amazon! I also love this one with ghosts all over it!!

I hope you creep it cozy the remainder of the winter and hope some of these items help!

Stay spooky, fiends!

  1. I had a coworker who just visited Southern California and said it had snowed there! What weird weather everyone's having. Related to your post, I especially love the book scarf idea. I've seen some really great ones on Etsy that make even this penny-pincher want to open her wallet.
