You read that right - Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter is here during the most wonderful time of the year! I finally got my hands on some Peanut Butter and Co.'s Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter - I grabbed mine at Sprouts, but I assume you can find it elsewhere, too. Last year I settled for the very unhealthy Jif version (review), so I was overjoyed at finally getting my hands on the good stuff!
In case you haven't noticed, I'm a bit of a pumpkin addict, and if you're reading this you probably are too! I don't understand the whole "basic" name-calling of one of my favorite flavors during the best time of year - how can something so delicious be hated??? So haters can step off, I'm gonna keep loving pumpkin EVERYTHING no matter the negativity I may face!
Anyways, some people might think Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter is strange, but not me...all I could think is NOM NOM NOM when I saw it. And I certainly wasn't disappointed when I popped open the lid and inhaled the heavenly scents of pumpkin spice and peanut butter. The pumpkin flavor was more subtle than I expected - it's more peanut buttery rather than pumpkin spicy. The cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice are not overpowering at all and really complemented the peanut butter.
I want to spread this Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter on everything - and luckily it is filled with wholesome ingredients so it is a somewhat healthy indulgence. It's all-natural ingredients are just peanuts, cane syrup, palm fruit oil, pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and salt - nothing weird and unpronounceable here!

I first tried the Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter on a pumpkin bagel - as you can expect, this was heaven for a pumpkin addict! I also dipped pretzels into the peanut butter, which makes the most perfect afternoon snack! I'm wondering if I can make a kind of Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter frosting for cupcakes with this magical spread - I bet it would be divine with chocolate cupcakes!!
Peanut Butter and Co. has a limited run of their Pumpkin Spice PB, and you can find it in some grocery stores (i.e. Sprouts is where I found it) or you can order it from their website!
Stay spooky!
I NEED TO FIND THIS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading one of your autumn haul post, and immediately checked iherb for that peanut butter. And suprise, they had it in stock! I ordered two jars and now can't get it out of my fiance's hands. Only downside to me, I'm a bit sensitive to cloves, so I can't eat too much of it. Yet it's a pure delight and I want to cry all my tears it's now out of stock :(
