Product Review: District Vegan Tees

Ok, I seriously must have been living under a rock, because I just recently discovered the utterly fabulous District Vegan line, run by none other than my very good Instagram/Facebook friend, Toni! I can't believe it took me this long to clue into her fantastic designs, ranging from t-shirts to stickers to sweaters to pins and more!

District Vegan is a one-woman operation, and on top of designing the tees, Toni also handles all packaging, shipping, etc. Speaking of packaging, she uses upcycled materials like re-purposed grocery bags or boxes whenever possible. If all that isn't awesome enough, 10% of proceeds are donated to animal rights rescue and advocacy groups! When I ordered my goodies in October, a portion went to Bat World Sanctuary, which made me so happy!!

District Vegan stickers and pin!

Many of District Vegan designs are seasonal and all are limited edition prints that are made in small batches (no more than 50) and once they are gone they're gone - there are no reprints of designs. This October I was lucky enough to get the autumn-themed prints before they sold out. I ordered the "Vegan Because My Body Is Not a Graveyard" tee that has a wonderful Haunted Mansion feel to it (not to mention the kick-ass vegan message)! Toni was a dear and my order arrived with two of her other Halloween tees - the "Vegan Rib" tee with a ribcage made of bananas (so cute and clever!) as well as her adorable Pumpkin Lattes with Almond Milk tee (vegan PSL lovers rejoice!)! I also got many stickers, including a Pumpkin Latte sticker, Kale-fornia sticker, "Eat Figs Not Pigs" sticker, and "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Vegan" pin! What a haul!

All the designs were printed on soft, cozy t-shirts. The Pumpkin Latte design is on a woman-cut super-soft tee with a slight v-neck in a pretty purple with orange lettering. It's comfy and stretchy, and made with a blend of cotton, rayon and polyester. The two other tees are unisex style, 100% cotton, and the t-shirts have a nice weight and thickness to them that I love!

My new District Vegan shirts!

Go show this rad vegan clothing company some love!
