Halloween Club's Spook Show Just 1 Month Away!

For the past few years, horror and Halloween enthusiasts near and far have traveled to meet where all kindred spirits converge, at the "Spook Show", an annual event conjured up by the Halloween Club in La Mirada, California. This is one of my favorite springtime events, especially since we get to celebrate Halloween in April! It's full of incredible vendors, killer deals, costumed attendees, Halloween-themed musical acts and performers, and so much fun! If you want to see some of the fearsome fun I've had there in past years, check out the posts from 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015!

More info on this year's event, coming up next month, below:

Coming on its 7th Annual Celebration next month on April 6th, 2019, Spook Show started with a simple mission: facilitate an outdoor-gathering where local Southern Californian businesses and fellow enthusiasts may come share their penchant for the macabre. The Spook Show festival was tightly embraced, and a word-of-mouth-like-sharing-spell spread in alerting fellow ghouls and freaks to come recreate, sell, exhibit, shop, taste, listen, frolic and celebrate the unique culture inspired by the ancient Halloween tradition.

The 2019 spring Halloween festival will feature over 100 curated local vendors, artists, collectors, teachers, spook makers, spookipreneurs, and musicians for like-minded Halloween enthusiasts. Halloween Club will also host their biggest sale event on 1000s of costumes, accessories and decorations.

Many vendors have already been confirmed, including some of my favorites, including artist Meagan Meli who will be traveling all the way from New York, as well as local favorites Bat in Your Belfry, Black Magic Cakery, Black Willow Gallery, Bloodbath, Demonic Pinfestation, Dulce Calaveritas, Frightwares, KMSxCo, Monster Posse, Save the Panduhs, TeeNoEvil, and many, many more!

This year, special guests will also be at the event. Just announced was Philip Friedman, most well-known with horror fans as the actor who played the terrifying "Old Woman" in the first Insidious film, who will be on-hand to sign autographs and take photographs with attendees.

Halloween Club's 7th Annual Spook Show will be held April 6th, 2019 12-7pm at the Halloween Club located at 14447 Firestone Boulevard in La Mirada, CA 90638. Entry is free, but you must reserve your entry tickets HERE!

Hope to scare you there!

Stay spooky!
