Grave Harvest Halloween Convention Haunts Orange County This Saturday

I had a blast at last year's Grave Harvest Halloween convention at The Hotel Fullerton in Fullerton, California (read my recap HERE!), so I am looking forward to its return this Saturday, October 7th! Get your tickets now, as you need to purchase them in advance and none will be sold at the door. Tickets are only $10, and parking is free - you can purchase tickets HERE! Read more about this Orange County Halloween convention below!

When you attend, you can expect Halloween vendors selling everything from horror- and Halloween-inspired artwork to furniture, eerie exhibitors, and creepy classes that will help brush up your haunt skills. Last year I had such a great time browsing all the fantastic vendors and seeing people dressed up in costumes!

Adding to the fun will be Grave Harvest's emcee Raven, who will be spinning Halloween tunes during the festival, and RIP the Undertaker who will be on hand with Grave Harvest's usual crew of ghouls and fiends! Among the talented 55+  artisans and dark vendors will be the talented body painter Pashur, Philip Friedman who played the old woman in black in Insidious, and Grave Harvest makeup artist Sarah Rodriguez, plus so many more special guests, exhibitors, and vendors! You can also participate in classes that will be occurring in the Crystal Ballroom at Grave Harvest, presented by the following:

  • Michael J. Khouri, psychic and parapsychologist who will be presenting a presentation based on his latest book: Investing Haunted Houses in the Real World. He will be selling and signing books also in the Crown Ballroom.
  • Larry Carr, Hollywood makeup and special fx propmaster/sculptor  will be corpsifying a plain skeleton into something gruesome. Come and see the magic happen before your eyes.
  • Dave King, veteran Halloween artist will be showing Refabrication 101 - basic instruction on how to use EBS foam and specific tools to make costumes for your haunt and cosplay outfits. This presentation will show you how to make a headpiece.
Grave Harvest will be from 11AM - 6PM at The Hotel Fullerton, located at 1500 S. Raymond in Fullerton just off the 91 freeway at East/Raymond Street. Parking is plentiful and free - park around the back of the hotel. The main entrance to the ballrooms is on the side facing Raymond Street.

Please remember to pick up your tickets beforehand and I hope to scare ya there!

Stay spooky!
