Halloween at Bath and Body Works!

The Boyfriend and I were walking off our dinner the other evening when we decided to pop into Bath and Body Works to see if they had any autumn-scented candles out...and boy did they ever!

They had my favorite, Pumpkin Patch, plus a ton of other scents including Leaves, Autumn, Caramel Apple, Cinnamon and Clove Buds, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Autumn Apple and Creamy Pumpkin! Oh boy, was I ever in candle heaven!! I don't know if Bath and Body Works' candles are vegan, but they are made with vegetable oils...not too sure what their wax is made out of, though (UPDATE: Bath and Body Works cannot confirm that any of their products are vegan, so I must err on the side of caution and assume they are NOT vegan. I will no longer be purchasing their products.)

However, I couldn't resist and Boyfriend ended up buying me two candles (they were on sale for $5 each!!), Creamy Pumpkin and Caramel Apple!

Yummy Caramel Apple!

Divine Creamy Pumpkin!

Before checking out I also had to grab the five Halloween-themed pocket sanitizing gels...only $5 for 5! The scents are Spider's Web (licorice), Bat Bite (apple), Candy Corn (caramel), Zombie Squad (marshmallow) and Vampire Blood (plum). These are great because they don't have a strong alcohol smell that most hand sanitizers have; instead, you can really smell their intended scents! My favorite one is Zombie Squad, because it really does smell like marshmallows! Not only do they smell good, but just look how cute they are! (UPDATE: Upon closure inspection, these sanitizing gels are NOT vegan and contain gelatin and other nasty products...I will definitely not be purchasing these again.)

I didn't see these on the Bath and Body Works site, but they are in-store!

Stuff like this just makes me sooooo excited for Halloween!!

  3. Oooh...I'm so glad you posted this. I was wondering if their Autumn line was out yet. I'm a big fan of leaves. It smells great for Fall and Winter without being too cutesy or predictable. I'm really curious about 'creamy pumpkin' and like the Captain...I really love the scent of clove so I want to smell that one too. And those hand sanitizers are great. I will go buy some to give as small treats to my Halloween loving friends. Thanks again for the heads up! :o)

  5. I just came across this blog post as I am creating a line of Halloween themed bath and body products. I would absolutley love some input from you, if you do not mind? I want to make a product that is safe for everyone.

I personally am not vegan, I admit, and many of my customers aren't... but I know how hard it is to find vegan bath and body products, something I originally thought should be easy, until I started looking into it! I strongly want to cater to the vegan and non-vegan crowd, making it so I have products for everyone.

I sell custom buttons, and if someone wants a "vegan and proud" button, I am happy to make it! So I feel my bath and body products should be the same.

Here are the sanitizers I have so far: https://www.etsy.com/listing/161794969/super-cute-hand-sanitizer-custom-made?

    I believe they are vegan...
