Food Review: Laughing Giraffe Organics' Pumpkin Spice Snakaroons

I found Laughing Giraffe Organics' Pumpkin Spice Snakaroons in my local Sprouts' grocery store (check out my other pumpkin finds HERE!), along with the rest of their pumpkin products. This was a new item for me, and I was super excited to try it! The Snakaroons are macraoons, and they are delightful mounds of coconut and pumpkin spicy goodness! They are also vegan, raw, gluten-free, non-GMO, and certified organic.

The Snakaroons are made with simple, natural ingredients, with no preservatives added. Their nutrient-rich and power-packed ingredients include coconut, pumpkin puree and seeds, vanilla extract, coconut oil, lemon juice, and spices.

Not only are they filled with good-for-you-ingredients, but they actually taste good, too! The texture is perfectly soft and chewy - they aren't too hard and stiff like other macaroons. They are pillowy soft and almost melt in your mouth! And the heavenly autumn smell of pumpkin spice when you open the bag...mmmmmmmmm! And once you bite into one, well, you won't want to stop snacking on them. I love their subtle, natural sweetness and the texture the coconut gives them, and the pumpkin spice taste itself isn't too overpowering, but just the right amount of autumnal flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and pumpkin. 

Though I said previously that once you pop one you won't want to stop, the funny thing is that one on its own is entirely satisfying! I tend to over-indulge on treats, but even though these were downright delicious, I found that one really curbed my sugar/snack cravings and I was fine eating just one (ok, sometimes two) at a time.

These retail for around $5 - $6 (as you can see in the photo above, the ones I bought at Sprouts were $5.24), and are the perfect pick-me-up in the afternoon or anytime you need a little snack for a burst of energy. Laughing Giraffe Organics also makes other flavors of macaroons and other products, but I think this is the first time I've ever tried one of their items. And wow, am I ever glad I did because I cannot speak any more highly of their Pumpkin Spice Snakaroons! I highly recommend these healthy snacks that feel like an indulgence!
